Guides and how to get started — Origin notes from a full stack teardown and rebuild.

Background

This started as paperwork I wished I had while tearing down and reimagining the entire tech stack from my last startup.

The teardown was not ideological—it was practical. What actually earned its seat? What was only there because we had shipped around it? What quietly raised the cost of ownership every sprint?

What came back out was a decision system: what to adopt, what to tolerate, what to drop, and how to talk about tools without pretending every vendor solves the same problem. The reviews and scores are that system written down so it can be reused—by me, and by anyone else staring at the same noisy market.

If you want the argument in one line, read the thesis. If you want the mechanics, read how I score it.
